Each of our Livescan sites undergoes a comprehensive credentialing and onboarding process that evaluates factors such as location, accessibility, professionalism, appearance and many others. All site owners and employees must pass a comprehensive criminal background check as part of the credentialing process.
Once a site is approved, all site operators are fully trained in both the art of fingerprinting and the “BIG Way” of customer service. We also provide online and telephone support to our sites.

An average appointment takes less than 10 minutes. To collect the fingerprints, the technician lightly presses the applicant’s finger onto a glass platen, where it is scanned. The Livescan software automatically rates print quality to eliminate poor fingerprint samples.
We match each applicant with the closest fingerprint collection site. Our database contains information about each site, including its location, hours of operation and any special procedures unique to that site.
